What you focus on expands, and when you focus on the goodness in your life, you create more of it. Opportunities, relationships, even money flowed my way when I learned to be grateful no matter what happened in my life.” ~ Oprah Winfrey

Greetings!

Oprah’s quote is a necessary and timely reminder that energy flows where our attention goes. What we focus on (good, bad or otherwise) expands. Our attention is energy, the nourishment we give today that determines what we manifest tomorrow.

So if you want to keep getting what you’re getting, keep doing what you’re doing. But if you want something different in the future, tomorrow’s blessings require a change in focus today!

It’s so easy (too easy, actually) to focus on what we believe we don’t have or what we fear we can’t do. But because thoughts never return to us “void” and we possess the power of creation in our words (which includes the words we *speak* in our thoughts), what we continually focus on we can literally *speak* into existence. So choose your words carefully.

This is sometimes referred to as the law of manifestation, a slightly different concept from the more well-known “law of attraction“. Dr. Wayne Dyer recently explained how is the art of manifestation different from the law of attraction. Watch the YouTube video below as Dr. Wayne Dyer explains how we all have the ability to manifest anything we want into our lives.

Be well … and WISE!
